DO NOT USE
|
DOT has decertified
this bottle. DO NOT USE
|
**Some older bottles started with a 3 year test cycle (test
every 3 years). Then the DOT allowed the manufacturer to switch
these bottles to a 5 year test cycle. But they have to meet these
conditions.
What this means:
If your bottle has not been tested after the 2001 date
(May or July, see above), you must first use the 3 year
cycle. Once it is tested, then the same bottle switches to a 5 year
cycle?
Confussed?
Simple: You have a Luxfer tank "E-10915."
If your latest "HYDRO" test sticker says April XXX 2001,
Its last test date was April, 2001.(the xxx's are the manufactures
symbol). It needs to be tested now, because it is still ON the 3
year cycle (test sticker was before May 11, 2001). After this test,
the bottle switches to a 5 year cycle.
It still has a 15year life.
Send me a email at info@hydrotester.com with you tanks information,
I will figure out your test cycle requirements.
